Dan Perjovschi
電話はこんなに小さくなって、テレビもあんなに薄くなったんだったら、人間はどうなっちゃうんだろう。
これは、Dan Perjovschiというルーマニア人アーティストの作品です。去年の夏、Momaで展覧会が行われ、壁一面に彼の"ユーモア×皮肉"に溢れる作品が登場しました。"WHAT HAPPEN TO US"と題されたこのインスタレーションでは、現代に生きる私たちなら誰もが身に覚えのある、社会的、倫理的なメッセージ性のある作品（イラスト）が集められていました。
"US"は「私たち」という意味と「United States」との意味とが掛け合わされており、アメリカに対する皮肉を含んだものが多く含まれていました。
右の写真は、アーティストが実際に壁に描いている時の様子。
世の中の問題の要点を凝縮して、鋭くシンプルに描いているからこそ、見ている者を強く深く引きつけます。
展覧会では、作品をたくさん載せた新聞も配られました。もっとご覧になりたい方に、お手頃な作品集

「アメリカに縛られている人。」「石油の出るところでは戦争が。」「"私"に押しつぶされそうな"あなた"」といったところでしょうか。
アートにありがちな長い解説を必要としないのは、"今"を共に生きているアーティストの作品だからこそ。

If telephone became so small and the television became so flat, what is going to happen to human being?!
This is an art work from Dan Perjovschi, a Rumainan artist. He had an exhibition at MOMA last summer. The whole wall was covered by his humorous and ironic art works.
The title of this installation was "WHAT HAPPEN TO US." Almost all of the art works were about our social and ethical dilemma and difficulties which we are all familiar with.
"US" represents the meaning of "we" and also "the United States." And many of them were sarcastic about the US situation.
In the right picture, the artist is drawing directly on the wall in MOMA.
He attracts the audience by condensing the problems in the world and expressing them simply and caustically.
These are like, "people tied by the US","there is a war abouve the OIL" and "YOU is flattened by ME"
It doesn't require any typical description which art usually does. It is because these are made by the artists living in the same "time" as we do.
